Ha ha! What an idiot! How could he mispronounce the nonsensical name of a brand new band when introducing their DEBUT single?
I mean, the benefit of 28 years of hindsight means nothing, surely EVERYONE knew how to pronounce “Duran Duran” back in 1981. At least the eight people who went and saw Barbarella did.
Wot? I’ve ALWAYS pronounced it Durren Durren! How else could you take ‘em seriously??
